just to say that it's still interesting that someone was found guilty in Bush's admin even if Cheney or Rove didn't get anything. U see Bush created a new kind of populist accountability...nobody fucking cares if his admin breaks any law...the judge will be the public opinion, the voters and he has always described 2004 elections as a judgement...so the fact finally someone was judged and condemned from his staff is symbolic...after I can understand u're disabused becos just Libby will take the blame and others will walk away...it's always like that in major scandals...it's at least a sign u can't just transgress any law even it makes you more popular..but I may be also doing some wishful and naive thinking...
